RMI is an independent, nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to transform the global energy system to secure a clean, prosperous, zero-carbon future for all. Founded as Rocky Mountain Institute in 1982, RMI champions market-driven solutions, partnering with businesses, policymakers, funders, and communities to scale clean energy in ways that enhance security, strengthen economies, and improve livelihoods.
