ChildFund International is a child development and protection organization headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. Founded in 1938, ChildFund began by helping sponsors send support to children in China affected by war, and has since grown into a network of organizations working so that children everywhere can grow up healthy, educated, skilled and safe. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a member of the ChildFund Alliance.

Founded in 1938, ChildFund started by connecting sponsors with children in China affected by war. It has evolved into a network of 10 organizations operating across more than 60 countries, including Uganda, Bolivia, Kenya, Sri Lanka, and Ecuador.
