Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) is a congressionally chartered veterans service organization founded in 1946 and headquartered in Washington, DC. PVA exclusively serves U.S. military Veterans with spinal cord injuries and disorders (SCI/D) and related diseases such as MS and ALS, working to ensure that every Veteran of every age, every branch, and every conflict regains what they fought for: their freedom and independence.

PVA works to ensure that Veterans with spinal cord injuries and disorders regain their freedom and independence, supporting them and their families from Day One of their injury or diagnosis.

PVA operates chapters across the country and deploys National Service Officers nationwide to assist Veterans from the first day of their injury or diagnosis.
