Older Adults Technology Services, Inc. (OATS) is a New York-based nonprofit and a charitable affiliate of AARP that works to harness the power of technology to change the way we age. Established in 2004 as a social impact organization, OATS describes itself as a national leader in crafting programs that meet the needs of seniors to use technology for a more connected, happier, healthier and more secure financial life. Its flagship program, Senior Planet from AARP, delivers in-person and online experiences that empower older adults with the tools and training to leverage technology and enrich their lives.

Senior Planet describes its participants as a distinctive, diverse collection of people aged 60 and older who are busy changing the way we age by embracing opportunities to reshape their lives, connect with and help one another, and change the world for the better.
History
OATS was established in 2004. It now operates as a charitable affiliate of AARP, with shared governance and programming initiatives, and both OATS and Senior Planet are identified as charitable affiliates of AARP.
Financials
According to IRS filings compiled by ProPublica Nonprofit Explorer (EIN 55-0882599), OATS reported total revenue of about 13.3 million dollars and total expenses of about 13.0 million dollars for the fiscal year ending December 2023, including roughly 11.6 million dollars in contributions and grants.
